The Mix: Cultivar Description Use for:
Governor or One 50 Perennial Ryegrass (AR37/AR1/LE) Governor has the ability to grow more DM on the shoulders of the season, in early spring and autumn + 5 days / One 50 has outstanding summer, autumn and winter growth particularly with AR37
proven persistent option.		 Premium dairy pasture mix using late flowering ryegrass for good year round seasonal dry matter production. With a large and medium leaf clover both with good stolon density features. Use as a high producing general purpose dairy pasture.

Generator ‘Black Beetle Tetraploid’ (BBT) Dairy Mix
The Mix: Cultivar Description Use for:
Base AR37 or Viscount NEA4 Tetraploid Perennial ryegrass Base and Viscount are both late flowering tetraploid perennial ryegrasses with AR37 endophyte for extra stock performance and persistence in areas with high insect pressure particularly Black Beetle and Argentine Stem Weevil. Late flowering tetraploid ryegrasses with excellent year-round seasonal dry matter production. Along with all the other benefits that tetraploid ryegrass offers. Large leaf and medium leaf clovers with good stolon density features. Use as an excellent general-purpose dairy pasture in regions where black beetle are a problem.

Generator ‘Black Beetle Diploid’ (BBD) Dairy Mix
The Mix: Cultivar Description Use for:

Prospect AR37 diploid perennial ryegrasses

 Maxsyn NEA 4 strength is its warm season growth. It is easier to graze in spring (encouraging new daughter tillers) and has strong summer tillering, helping it persist.
Summer is a time most farm systems are short of feed, so extra pasture is highly valued. Visually you can see the difference, with Maxsyn holding its green colour longer into hot summer conditions.

Prospect AR37 is a new generation perennial ryegrass, that has been bred from a combination of late heading north-west Spanish perennial ryegrasses and traditional mid heading perennial ryegrasses. Due to Prospect AR37 has a flowering date of +12 days.

AR37 endophyte for extra stock performance and persistence in areas with high insect pressure particularly Black Beetle and Argentine Stem Weevil.

 A good year round seasonal dry matter production. Using premium perennial ryegrasses and large leaf and medium leaf clovers with good stolon density features. Use as an excellent general purpose dairy pasture in regions where black beetle are a problem.

Generator ‘Value’ Dairy Pasture Mix
The Mix: Cultivar Description Use for:
Breeders B diploid perennial  ryegrass Early flowering, persistent, diploid perennial ryegrass with outstanding winter and early spring growth. This is a mix of a diploid perennial ryegrass, Italian ryegrass, Huia clover and Timothy. And has been designed to achieve a high producing pasture but at a very economic price per hectare. It can be established over a wide range of soil types, fertility situations and is suitable in all dairy farming situations and can be established using all known methods of establishment. This mix can also be used in sheep and beef situations

Huia White Clover Medium leaf size type with a time proven performance record.
Timothy Added to improve summer performance and palatability.

Generator Extras for the Dairy Pasture Seed Mixes
The Seed: Seed Description: Recommended use rate:
Cocksfoot Cocksfoot is a very persistent perennial grass that tolerates summer dry conditions, moderate soil fertility, insect attack and continual set stocking. 2 to 4 kgs per hectare
Chicory Chicory has a deep, tap like, rooting system, and provides excellent stock health attributes and summer performance. 1 to 2 kgs per hectare
Plantain A fibrous broadleaf mineral rich pasture herb. 500 grams to 1 kg per hectare
Red Clover A tap rooted clover with very high feed value, with excellent summer production. 2 to 5 kgs per hectare
Timothy Very palatable to all stock types care must be taken to avoid over grazing. Has very high herbage quality features. 2 to 3 kgs per hectare
Phalaris Phalaris grows with vigour during the Autumn, Winter and Spring but is semi – dormant during the Summer. 1 to 2 kgs per hectare
Persian Clover Persian Clover is a highly productive, palatable and nutritious annual clover. Recommended cultivars:
Enrich		 3 to 6 kgs per hectare
